Round the Bend Farm (RTB), a Center for Restorative Community, located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts is a working farm and educational non-profit. Get to know some of our fruit trees! 🌳 These beaut Get to know some of our fruit trees! 🌳 These beautiful blossoms belong to apricot trees that make up part of our windbreak. As many of you have experienced yourselves, the nearby ocean means that winds can get pretty intense on the South Coast 🌬️These trees help protect our crops on blustery days while providing delicious fruits in the summer! 🌸
The farm squad is busy planting potatoes, spinach, The farm squad is busy planting potatoes, spinach, lettuce, and broccoli this week 🥔🌱 In this slideshow, Monie and Maddie are seen cutting potatoes into halves and quarters. As long as a potato piece has a sprout (known as an eye), it can grow into a full plant, so this method allows us to grow more plants with fewer seeds.
