To kick off the Open Farm Day season we are focusing on spring and all the babies that come with it! We have two activites planned for kids of all ages.
Meet the baby goats!
This year our herd of goat mamas had some VERY adorable babies that are looking to play. We would like to invite you to come and get some snuggle/playtime with a few of our best baby goats. We will gather in small groups and head down the barn to hang with the goat kids. Each group with spend about 10 mins in the pen with the babies. We will start the first group at 9am and will continue until everyone has had a chance to meet the furry babies.
Vernal Pools – an informational presentation of the identification of vernal pools and the organisms that inhabit them
Join Naturalist Peter DeFusco as he explains how to identify veral pools and the creatures in them. His presentation will include some amazing pictures as well as a fun game using frog sounds to help you understand the voices of different frogs. Fun for all ages! First presentation will be 9:30am
