RTB has several seasonal tiny houses that are approximately 200 sq. feet and are not wired with electricity or plumbing. Tiny houses are part of a social movement where people are choosing to downsize the space they live in for a variety of reasons. We love what they represent and what they offer our teammates, agripreneurs, interns, volunteers and other farm hands at local farms that choose to inhabit one during their stay on the farm. They are another great example of how we can increase our capacity and outreach without increasing our carbon footprint.
Tiny House Living offers:
- Financial freedom
- Live-simpler attitude and philosophy
- Less impact on the environment
- A larger life outdoors
- More personal time and freedom to pursue individual goals
Living a minimalist lifestyle doesn’t only bring financial freedom but it fosters a sense of personal freedom. When we live in an environment that supports us to truly pay attention to what is essential in life, we deepen spiritually, emotionally and socially. We remodel our sense of what success is and how important it is or isn’t to have ‘stuff’ in order to convey an image to the outside world.
